"Today, April 22, 2009, I stand on an island I call Freedom that is surrounded by the Sea Of Peace. Two months ago, the island did not exist.  It was once a very high, intimidating and treaturous mountain named Thyroid Cancer and it was then surrounded by a forest of fear.  Then, I was a 37 year old wife, mother, daughter, sister and business-owner. Cancer was not in my Life-Plan. “ I was diagnosed with SLE (Lupus) in 1984. My white blood count was less than half what was the normal. I had a swollen liver and pain in that area, heart palpitations, joint and muscle pain. My condition progressed to the point that I lost my thyroid through radiation. After 6 months with Dr. deWet and his staff I had virtually no more pain. The symptoms of SLE were completely gone as well as the liver problems. My heart palpatations remained for awhile but after going through the “Recall Healing”, every problem with my heart disappeared literally within one day. I've been sick for 14 months with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. There were many times I literally stopped what I was doing around the house to lay down on the floor. I had to quit my part-time teaching job and was barely able to take care of my infant son. After a few weeks of IV's (and lots of supplements), I started feeling quite better. Most days, at least 50% better, some more and some less. I just finished a 2-week round of IV Cleocin antibiotics- they warned me I may feel worse in the middle of treatment-and I did. So I worried at first. But the past two days have been among the best I've ever felt in the last year. I had more energy and felt more "normal" than I have in a long time. I'm starting to hope and believe that I will get totally well. Before coming to see Dr. de Wet I was terrified I would have to live like this forever.

When I came to Dr. de Wet, I could not walk more than 20-50 feet without getting out of breath and becoming fatigued. I have had two open heart surgeries, a broken neck, compressed vertebrae in my lumbar spine. I suffer from diabetes, arthritis (osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis), gout, emphysema and have had cancer lesions removed five times. My quality of life is better now than it has been in 22 years. God has used Dr. de Wet to encourage me and help me. He has improved my life more than I could say. The staff is wonderful. They will never get rid of me until I go home to be with Jesus!

It is very difficult to find a doctor who combines conventional and alternative medicine and Dr. de Wet does this very well. My son has juvenile rheumatoid arthritis and has been very sick for 2 years. We had a lot of improvement the first year of seeing Dr. de Wet. As we have dealt with the difficult flare-up of JRA everyone here has continued to be very caring and helpful. Dr. de Wet is willing to work with other doctors to try to develop the best comprehensive care for our son. We drive four hours once a month to come here because of the quality of care we receive.

I cannot thank you enough for the time, effort and love you put into this life-changing weekend workshop for me. When I woke up this morning, for the first time in a very long time, I looked forward to my day. My first thought was "great! I get to get up now". You also provided a place of healing for the relationship between my mom and me (we attended together this weekend). My mom took a very brave step 3 1/2 years ago when she..... I realized this weekend how much immense love for self and family it took for her to do that. All our relationships are healthier now than they ever were. For so long I resented her for changing.
