Becoming aware of your life story:
A Critical key to healing.
Maybe the most important discovery in medicine was made approximately 35 years ago by Dr. Reike Hamer, the founder of “German New Medicine” when he came to the startling conclusion that cancer (or other illnesses) do not occur as a random event. Cancer and all other diseases, he discovered are programmed biological events and are the expression in the body of unresolved conflicts.
He made this discovery after his own experience with cancer. In 1978 Dr. Hamer unexpectedly lost his son whom he loved dearly and was extremely close to when he was murdered in what seemed to be a random violent act. The crime was never solved and at the time caused Dr. Hamer to experience profound psychological trauma that threw him into a deep depression that lasted for almost 8 months. He was unable to sleep properly, had severe fatigue, cold hands and feet, loss of appetite, nausea and other symptoms typically seen when humans go through severe stress. He was unable to concentrate, unable to work and realized that he needed to come to terms with this loss if he was going to survive. With the support of friends, psychological counseling and the love of his family he finally turned the corner. Almost overnight he felt alive again, energetic, and back on track in his life. Shortly after this he felt a mass in his testicle and immediately had it evaluated by a colleague who discovered he had testicular cancer. Instead of surgery, chemotherapy and radiation Dr. Hamer decided to follow another path. He instinctively new that this cancer had something to do with the psychological trauma he had experienced and the way he processed it. He continued relentlessly to heal his psyche and a few weeks later the cancer had resolved spontaneously.
Dr. Hamer, the former head internist in the oncology clinic at the University of Munich, Germany, at the time, started evaluating every cancer patient he saw for a severe stressful event that preceded the cancer diagnosis and found that most of his cancer patients had had such an event within 2 years of the diagnosis and all within 5 years of their cancer and that the stress lead to an unresolved psychological conflict that lasted a significant period of time and at a high level. He also discovered that all those diagnosed with cancer felt isolated during their conflict unable to share their deep-seated feelings with anyone, had difficulty functioning in their everyday lives and had similar physical symptoms of stress as in Dr. Hamer’s case. He also discovered that every one of them had a ring lesion in the brain visible on CT scan corresponding with the body part or organ where the malignancy developed and that the nature of the unresolved conflict was very specific for the body part, organ and type of cancer.
What Dr. Hamer discovered next was most startling, and that is that when the unresolved conflict was resolved, that 95-98% of his patients got better. The ones that didn’t still had an aspect of their unresolved conflict that hadn’t cleared or had a secondary conflict that developed after the diagnosis of cancer was shared with them in a way that traumatized them further. He called this the conflict of the diagnosis / prognosis. In other words if the patient had a great fear of death resulting from the way the diagnosis was conveyed or based on their view of cancer or the experience of family members with cancer, then the result was further expansion of the cancer and often the development of metastatic disease. For example with an intense fear of death a second cancer would develop in the lungs. In Orthodox medicine metastatic cancer is always blamed on the original cancer but Dr. Hamer and others have found that the exact nature and type of cells of the lung metastasis are different from the original tumor in most cases.
To summarize some of Dr. Hamer’s findings, he found the following principles to be true:
The brain is the central control station and illness is a program that the brain can switch on under circumstances of extreme stress or a very significant conflict experienced by a living creature.
The brain can switch off this same illness creating program as soon as the conflict that triggered the creature’s illness has been resolved or is eliminated.
There is a consistent and profound link between the symbolism of illnesses, the part of the body that is affected and the corresponding parts of the brain.
Every so-called disease has to be understood as a “meaningful special biological program of nature” created to solve an unexpected biological conflict.
Disease is the brain’s best solution to keep the person alive as long as possible-therefore disease is a survival program. The brain is like an electric device and the disease is one of its programs which is switched on in specific circumstances of high stress or conflict and switches off when the high or prolonged stress or conflict is released or resolved!”
Claude Sabbah
Dr. Claude Sabbah, a French physician who founded “Total Biology” expanded on Dr. Hamer’s work and made some other key discoveries. Between the two of them, they have been able to prove the existence of Biological Laws that work 100% of the time. The main factor in illness is not your genes, neither is it diet nor toxicity nor infectious organisms even though they play a peripheral roll. All these factors though have one thing in common; they are all also linked to these same Biological Laws.
Recall Healing:
"To heal from any illness, it is necessary and sufficient to remove the source of conflict within oneself."
Claude Sabbah
That sounds easy enough, doesn’t it? The first problem of course is first to become aware of our unresolved inner conflicts. The second problem is how do you resolve or clear the conflict in order to allow the body to heal.
Becoming aware:
“Everything that comes back to awareness does not come back as a destiny”
Karl Jung
By definition, when an inner conflict arises that is to great for the conscious mind to bear, it downloads to the brain and to the body as illness, clearing it from the conscious mind. Therefore it becomes hard to access directly through our waking consciousness. This is called a mini maxi schizophrenia which means we develop a blind spot and can’t see or are not aware of our own conflicts. Fortunately there are ways to access this information. First by have to look at our personal history from approximately one year of age to the present moment. By building awareness of our timelines, i.e. when did I start having symptoms of illness, what happened that was either psychologically or physically traumatic before the symptoms of illness arose that might have become a triggering conflict? What happened earlier in life years or even decades before the symptoms started that was traumatic in some way and that could have become a programming conflict?
Every physical illness is preceded by a programming and a triggering conflict. Sometimes the two conflicts occur together if the emotional or psychological shock behind the illness is overwhelming enough in intensity, for example the loss of a loved one that we are emotionally or physically dependent on to a significant degree. The requirement here is that the conflict is sudden, unexpected and overwhelms the waking consciousness to such a degree that it severely impairs day to day functioning. There are many other clues that are used to track these programming and triggering conflicts until the picture becomes crystal clear to the individual. These include extreme likes and dislikes, addictions, personality traits, phobias, etc.
A second major source of unresolved conflict in all of us is what is downloaded to us by our parents from the moment of conception to the 1st year of life. In other words the unresolved psychological conflict of the parent becomes the biological conflict of the child. This is another survival tool and is essential for the parents to be able to function at a level in this world where they have the greatest chance at being able to support their offspring and continue to procreate. For example if a women falls pregnant in order to “keep her man” because of stress in the relationship, the child conceived will carry the conflict of “keeping mommy and daddy together.” Later on in life if there is discord between the mother and the father or if they get divorced, the child’s subconscious conflict will escalate to the degree where they may become physically ill with an illness representative of the conflict of separation, like eczema,
A third source of unresolved conflict is genealogical in nature. It has been established that we get major conflict downloads from as far back as four generations and possibly more. Helpful information here includes birth order, family secrets, unexpected, traumatic losses suffered in the family, etc.
Healing our wounds and bodies:
The most critical part of healing is becoming fully aware of our unresolved inner programming and triggering conflicts. Awareness is responsible for 50-60% of healing. Just like a shadow, the conflict will resolve when the light of consciousness is shed upon it. Conflicts resolve in one of two ways. We can find solutions to the conflict i.e. heal a broken relationship through counseling or we can reframe the conflict so that it becomes neutral in our consciousness i.e. total and unconditional forgiveness of someone that has hurt you in some way.
Other tools can be used like reflection, meditation, prayer, emotional freedom technique, psychological counseling, hypnosis, neurolinguistic programming, timeline therapy or family constellation therapy. It is also essential to increase mental and physical energy through healthy nutrition, exercise, supplementation of essential nutrients, enough rest, sunlight, fresh air, avoidance of environmental and food based toxins and enough water intake. Three additional invaluable steps are opening up to a deeper connection with the eternal, creative force in our universe (God) which is only accessible within each of us and not outside of us. Also foster an attitude of gratitude for everything including your illnesses. It is part of the magical survival system within you that give you the greatest opportunities to continue on your path in this physical world of ours. As you heal, realize that you to are a healer. When you heal your wounds, you change the consciousness in your family and in the world and assist in the healing of others.
